You see, all of us are salespeople.
Maybe we don’t try to sell people into buying our products or services… but somewhere in our lives, we have probably attempted to persuade our parents to give us something we want, argue over matters or win others into our point of view etc.
What most of us don’t realize is that when selling something, people don’t try to first think on our point of view. In fact, people don’t give a shit what you think if they’re being sold on something.
All we care about is ourselves.
Harsh truth, but if you’re willing to accept this – you’ll have ten times the persuasiveness of someone who don’t or can’t take the thought into account.
What I’m talking about here is a DISTINCT and CLEAR understanding that people really just care about themselves. They care about their futures… they care about their present needs… they care about their egos, their pride, their beauty, their status, their children, people they love, all about what’s going on in THEIR lives!
I mean, think about it. To them, you’re just someone who appeared in their lives trying to take some value away from them as a salesman or saleswoman.
If anything, the only reason they’re willing to hear from you is because you have something that could offer them MUCH MORE VALUE in return than what they give you.
You can say whatever you want, do whatever you want, and it won’t make them flinch until it’s something that THEY care about themselves… something that benefits them, something that adds more ‘beauty’ or ‘taste’ into their lives.
If you can give them something that’ll fulfil their dreams, all the better!
But why not start from the beginning. Why not start this ‘relationship’ ground up. Why not tell them why it’s related to THEIR lives… what THEY care for… what THEY really want?
I mean, if you grasp this fact – you’ll find no other day in your life where you starve for another meal. Grasp this fact better than anyone else, and you’ll make yourself bigger fortunes than those who dare stand up against you.
